Job Description

Do you want to help create the life-changing difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our youth/clients to new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and safety of our youth/clients and are responsible for the basics of daily life such as (schooling), cleaning, cooking, and more. You contribute to maintaining order and safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building secure relationships and contribute to ensuring that our youth/clients receive the safety and security they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues such as treatment pedagogues and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.

As a new employee, you will undergo SiS basic training for 10 weeks. The training combines theory with a guided introduction and prepares you for the treatment role in SiS operations.

Qualifications

Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of people, great empathetic ability, and the ability to create good relationships. You have good communication skills and can maintain your calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.

You should also have:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Experience from LSS operations and/or psychiatry is desirable
• Driver's license B
• Good Swedish in speech and writing

Employment

The position is a part-time employment. Start date according to agreement.
